Welcome to the Forestville Public School Strings website.  The strings program is a valued extra-curricular addition to our school’s music program and offers students the opportunity to learn a stringed instrument in a group setting.

Our strings program is run by a dedicated team of parents as a sub-committee to the P&C.  We encourage parents to attend committee meetings and value any thoughts, input and feedback.  In addition to the committee, our program cannot run without the help of parent/carer volunteers to help with events and rehearsal supervision, which is also a fantastic way to see the ensembles in action.
